South Santiam All Lands Collaborative

The South Santiam Watershed Council is working with the Sweet Home Ranger District, Cascade Timber Consulting, Linn County, the City of Sweet Home, and many other local organizations to plan and implement projects that will provide employment, watershed restoration, and recreation opportunities near Sweet Home.  To learn more about projects that are proposed and ongoing, please review the “Cool-Soda All Lands Restoration Proposal”.

Our partners in the South Santiam All Lands Collaborative, The Ecosystem Workforce Program at the University of Oregon has developed the following report on the economic activity generated through forest and watershed restoration in Linn County. The SSWC is excited to use the data in the report to help us use the local workforce effectively in our restoration work.
