Discovery sessions provide students with in-class experiences related to their watershed, water cycle, riparian zone, aquatic environment, and natural resources within the watershed.
Before attending Outdoor School, students have the option of participating in pre-outdoor school discovery sessions. These in-class “field-trips” provide students with background knowledge of their watershed.
Sessions include watershed ecology, water cycles, ripariain areas, food webs, fish identification, watershed restoration, and more!
